  1. Fig. 1 shows the start with the spacing such that Uke's extended knife and Nage's extended arm do not quite touch.
  2. Fig. 2 shows Nage striking Uke's face while the hand that was going to Nage's chest is diverted to parry the Tanto arm. Knee Pop Stomp is very important here!
  3. In Fig. 3 Nage has taken the Arm Down grip while changing sides in the normal Arm Down way.
  4. Fig. 4 shows the end of the Arm Down with Uke falling.

5. In Fig. 5 Nage applies the Kote Gaeshi.
6. Fig. 6 shows Uke rolled onto Uke's stomach and Nage has taken the Tanto.
